At the heart of our mission is a commitment to serve our neighbors with compassion, generosity, and the love of Christ. Through our Benevolence Ministry, we partner with local schools, community organizations, and care facilities to meet practical needs and offer encouragement throughout the year.
The Mountain Creek benevolence efforts include:
- Weekend Food Support for Students – We provide food bags for students at a local elementary school to ensure they have meals to take home over the weekend.
- Tennessee Children’s Home Support – We offer ongoing monetary and food donations to the Tennessee Children’s Home, helping provide stability and care for children and families in need.
- Thanksgiving Baskets for Local Families – Each year, we assemble and deliver Thanksgiving baskets to families from our local elementary school, sharing the joy and abundance of the season.
- Angel Tree for Elementary Students – During the Christmas season, our Angel Tree program provides gifts for students at the local elementary school, ensuring every child experiences the warmth of being remembered.
- Angel Tree for Assisted Living and Nursing Home Residents – We also extend our Angel Tree outreach to residents in nearby assisted living and nursing home facilities, offering gifts and personal items to brighten their holidays.
- Teacher Support Through Break Room Snacks – To show appreciation for our local educators, we regularly supply snacks for the teachers’ break room at the elementary school.
